Cignus Consulting, LLC (“Cignus”, “we”, “us”) operates cignus.aero. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, how we use it, the choices you have, and how to contact us with questions.

We collect information you voluntarily provide through forms on this site — for example your name, email address, organization, and message text when you submit our contact form. We also collect limited technical information automatically: pages viewed, referring page, device type, and an anonymized IP-derived region. This is captured through Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track visitors across sites.

How we use information. Form submissions are routed to the relevant Cignus team member to respond to your inquiry. Aggregated analytics are used to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not use your information for behavioral advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies. cignus.aero does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Strictly necessary cookies may be set to support session continuity in our content management system for authenticated editors only.

Data retention. Contact submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a record of business correspondence, typically up to three years. Aggregated analytics are retained on a rolling 24-month basis.

Your rights. You may request a copy of any personal information we hold about you, or request correction or deletion, by emailing info@cignus.aero. Where required by law (including GDPR for EEA visitors and CCPA/CPRA for California residents), we will respond within statutory timelines.

Security. We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest for stored submissions, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission over the Internet is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party services. Form delivery is handled by Resend (transactional email). Analytics are provided by Plausible. Hosting is on Amazon Web Services (US regions). Each subprocessor is bound by its own privacy and security commitments.

Children. cignus.aero is intended for a professional audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy. We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by a notice on the home page.
