Cignus Consulting is committed to digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We design and develop cignus.aero to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we treat accessibility as a continuous engineering practice rather than a one-time audit.
Standards. The site targets WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act. We test against the latest stable releases of major screen readers and browsers, including NVDA on Firefox, JAWS on Chrome, and VoiceOver on Safari (macOS and iOS).
What we do. Semantic HTML throughout. Visible focus states on every interactive element. All non-decorative images carry meaningful alternative text managed in our content system. Color contrast is verified against WCAG AA thresholds for both body and large text. The site is fully usable with keyboard navigation, and skip-to-content patterns are provided where appropriate.
Known limitations. Some legacy PDFs linked from the Insights section may not be fully tagged for screen readers; we are working with our authors to remediate these on a rolling basis. Embedded third-party media players may not match our internal accessibility standards in all cases.
Feedback. We welcome feedback on the accessibility of cignus.aero. If you encounter a barrier, or if you would like content provided in an alternative format, please contact info@cignus.aero with the URL of the page in question and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within five business days.
Formal complaints. If your concern is not resolved through direct contact with us, U.S. federal complaints may be filed with the U.S. Access Board. For Cignus contracts with federal agencies, accessibility complaints may also be raised through the contracting officer.
Ongoing improvement. Accessibility findings are tracked alongside functional defects in our engineering backlog and are reviewed during every release. We re-test the highest-traffic pages quarterly and incorporate user feedback as it arrives.
