Cignus Welcomes Dr. Lourdes Maurice as Strategic Advisor

Dr. Lourdes Maurice - formerly the FAA's Executive Director for the Office of Environment and Energy - joins Cignus as a Strategic Advisor on aviation environmental and policy programs.
Cignus Consulting is proud to announce that Dr. Lourdes Maurice has joined the firm as a Strategic Advisor. Dr. Maurice brings more than three decades of leadership experience in aviation environmental policy, having served as the FAA's Executive Director for the Office of Environment and Energy, where she led the agency's environmental research, policy, and regulatory programs.
During her distinguished career at the FAA, Dr. Maurice was instrumental in shaping national and international aviation environmental policy, including noise and emissions standards, alternative fuels research, and sustainability initiatives. She represented the United States in ICAO environmental working groups and was recognized as one of the most influential voices in aviation sustainability.
In her advisory role at Cignus, Dr. Maurice will provide strategic guidance on aviation environmental programs, sustainability consulting, and regulatory compliance. Her expertise will strengthen Cignus's ability to support clients navigating the increasingly complex intersection of aviation operations, environmental regulation, and community relations.
