Cignus a part of the next Florida Aviation System Plan Update

Cignus joined the consultant team supporting FDOT on the next Florida Aviation System Plan Update - a multi-year statewide planning effort.

Cignus Consulting is part of the team supporting FDOT on the next Florida Aviation System Plan Update, assessing the state's airport infrastructure and developing strategic recommendations through the 2043 planning horizon.

Cignus leads the airport system inventory data collection task, including comprehensive online surveys across all Florida airports covering infrastructure, navigation aids, economic impact, emerging technology, UAS/AAM preparedness, and other planning-relevant data.

The team is also performing GIS analysis including population drive-time analyses, AAM metropolitan access studies, and digital transformation dashboard development at various stakeholder levels from the FDOT Aviation Office to individual districts and airports.
