JFK Runway 13L-31R Taxiway Improvements - Benefit-Cost Analysis

This study examined the costs and benefits of implementing a new high-speed exit taxiway on Runway 13L-31R at JFK, one of the busiest airports in the country. The runway lacked high-speed exits and had insufficient ADG-VI clearances at the west end.

Cignus used TAAM fast-time simulation to measure operational benefits of proposed improvements, quantifying the potential benefits of the high-speed exit taxiway and adjacent taxiway adjustments.
