Boeing/FAA NEO Spiral 2 - UAS NAS Integration Operations Planning

Cignus provided engineering and air traffic operations expertise to support the FAA NEO Program with a focus on integrating Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operations into the National Airspace System (NAS). Cignus served as lead for the NEO Operations Working Group (OWG).

As operations lead, Cignus developed operational requirements, NEO service descriptions, a Concept of Use, and live demonstration activity plans, coordinating with government and industry partners including the FAA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Harris, GE, and AAI.
