Jerry Schwinghammer, CM, AICP

As Cignus' Director of Digital Transformation, Jerry leads the company's IT technology and service consulting practice, drawing on 30 years of hands-on leadership applying technology to airport planning, construction, and operations. A former CTO at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport and Assistant Director of Planning at Orlando International, he combines deep airport operations expertise with practical knowledge of digital twins, IoT, ML/AI, ERP/EAM, BHS, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. At Cignus he leads the on-call digital transformation engagement with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, with significant federal experience supporting the FAA, ANG, TSA, CBP, and FBI on mission-critical infrastructure.
